When you become a Sims Hilditch client, supplier or contact, we will need to obtain your name, postal address, e-mail address and telephone number. We may also ask names of family members and interests or preferences to ensure that we are providing you with a tailored service. We will only collect and use your information where we have lawful grounds and legitimate business reasons for doing so. We will not ask for more information than we need.

We will be transparent in our dealings with you and will tell you how we use your information.

We collect this information for the purposes of communicating with you, for carrying out a service and for invoicing. This information will then be used by us to provide you with updates about your account and any other matter relating to you. We will keep some records permanently if we are legally required to do so. We may keep some other records for an extended period of time. In general, we will endeavour to keep data only for as long as we need it. This means that we may delete it when it is no longer needed.

If you are enquiring about a career with Sims Hilditch by submitting a CV, covering letter and/or design portfolio, we will hold your documents on file for 18 months. After this time, if we have not contacted you, we will remove your data from our records.
