Mid Weight Interior Architect

We at Sims Hilditch are a renowned studio known for our exceptional projects in both the country and city markets, we are now seeking a Mid-weight Interior Architect to join our experienced team on some exciting projects.

KEY PURPOSE:

To deliver creative ideas and technical documentation that sits in line with Sims Hilditch’s overall vision and aesthetic. The ideal candidate would be able to create information that clearly communicates the design to both the client and the construction team on site from concept through to completion.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

We are seeking a Mid-weight Interior Architect with a minimum of 3 – 4 years design experience within the luxury residential industry. Working principally on technical drawing packages, this role will cover all elements of interior architecture from drawing up floor plans, elevations to interior details such as bespoke joinery, custom furniture, and architectural features.

  • Deliver creative design projects, alongside the other design team members.
  • Translate design concepts into detailed presentations and supporting documentation.
  • Produce full drawing packages to be reviewed by the senior team and issued to an architect or contractor for tender and construction.
  • Confidence in working on all project stages in line with RIBA structure.
  • Liaise with clients, consultants, suppliers, and the wider professional project teams.
  • Accompany senior design team members to presentations with clients.
  • Support the business in its day-to-day functions.

KEY KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

  • Auto CAD, In Design, Photoshop, Sketchup, Microsoft Office. Freehand sketching is essential.
  • Ability to work well under pressure, prioritise and meet deadlines.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of joinery and architectural detailing.
  • Self-motivated, and proactive with the ability to take initiative.
  • Good team player, both assisting and supporting team members.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organisational skills.
  • Full, clean UK Driving Licence.

Communications Manager

Sims Hilditch seeks a self-motivated Communications Lead to join our growing team and own all aspects of the day-to-day digital marketing and communications strategy. The ideal candidate for this position will be comfortable working and operating in a fast-paced environment whilst being able to create structure and processes to help achieve our growth plans.

Management & Strategy

  • Develop an integrated strategy alongside the Head of Brand Communications for all digital marketing and communication channels for the brand.
  • Regularly review marketing budget to ensure proposed spend is in line with strategy.
  • Manage marketing trackers, Trello board and continuously update CRM and CMS systems.
  • Produce monthly marketing and business development reports including analytics, marketing activity, networking, business development and prospective enquiries reflecting on efficient operations and areas of improvement.
  • Monitor marketing trends to ensure marketing and communications efforts remain relevant and effective.
  • Manage digital marketing agency and PR agent setting quarterly goals in line with business objectives.
  • Be an ambassador for sustainable best practices across the business driving new initiatives and communicating our values across all digital platforms.
  • Manage recruitment process for marketing team including summer intern and external support (if required).

Digital Marketing

  • Ensure website is updated with new projects, blogs, videos and photography whilst maintaining strong SEO copy throughout.
  • Create monthly newsletters alongside Brand Content Lead and maintain mailing list in line with GDPR.
  • Identify and oversee digital brand partnerships for social growth and successful backlink targeting.
  • Liaise with Digital Marketing Agency to identify new opportunities for digital growth.
  • Work alongside Creative Marketing Lead to create high-quality assets for use on website, social media and all digital channels.

Social Media

  • Take ownership of all social media channels including briefing the Brand Content Lead to create copy, manage daily posts and connect with followers, with the overall aim to improve engagements and grow following.
  • Create social media editorial calendar and analyse activity across different channels to maximise its impact.

Communications

  • Create PR strategy and manage all PR channels including digital, print media and socials.
  • Create a communications strategy with Head of Client Partnerships to actively engage with clients and industry contacts.
  • Support Head of Partnerships by reporting on networking activity and identifying new opportunities.
  • Manage roadmap for all brand communications touch points including website, social, newsletters, digital lookbooks, case studies and branded documents working with Brand Content Lead to deliver assets.
  • Brief Brand Content Lead on specialist projects and collaboratively agree set deliverables.
  • Explore new communication opportunities, analysing risk and report to senior management team.

Skills Requirements:

  • A minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in a similar role.
  • Understanding of planning and delivering successful multi-channel campaigns end-to-end (including email), from concept to execution.
  • Strong problem-solving skills to identify new opportunities, evaluate options and provide clear recommendations for targeting key markets.
  • Meticulous organisation and planning with an analytical mindset.
  • Ability and experience with communicating to senior business leaders across multiple departments.
  • Proven ability to understand digital and offline communication techniques and concepts.
  • Excellent knowledge of CMS and CRM systems, SEO and creating comprehensive analytics reports.
  • Confident in using Google Suite, Mailchimp, Planoly, CRM & CMS systems, Microsoft Excel, Adobe Photoshop (desirable) and Adobe InDesign (desirable).

Please note, due to our remote location, applicants are required to have a full UK driving license. This is a hybrid role where the suitable candidate will work across our Cotswold office with occasional trips to our London location in Parsons Green.

Brand Content Lead

Sims Hilditch seeks a creative, self-motivated Brand Content Lead to join its growing team. This role acts as a brand guardian and is critical in helping drive brand consistency across all communication touchpoints. In this role, you will be responsible for strategically driving the external and internal narrative around the business and its values. Working closely with the Digital & Communications Lead, you will set out and develop brand assets in line with the overall marketing strategy in order to deliver ambitious growth plans.

Branding

  • Create brand collateral including case studies, brochures, press pitches, digital lookbooks, and videos.
  • Oversee all photography and videography including concepting and briefing to both internal and external teams.
  • Take ownership of brand tone of voice liaising with copywriter and providing clear briefs and guidelines for teams.

Press & PR

  • Write copy for all digital, print media and social channels in line with brand tone of voice.
  • Liaise and support PR agency and agree set deliverables including high profile press pitches and project exclusives.
  • Set annual PR budget alongside Digital & Communications Lead to include press lunches, advertising, press photoshoots and gifting.
  • Track PR features, specialist-themed issues and new opportunities.
  • Submit national & international award entries.
  • Build relationships with editors, influencers and industry contacts.
  • Explore new markets to reach prospective clients.

Digital Marketing

  • Work with Digital Marketing Lead to create assets and copy for social media, website and newsletters.
  • Ensure all language is appropriately written in line with brand tone of voice.

Events

  • Internal:
    • Manage end-to-end curation & execution of events alongside Head of Client & Partnerships.
  • External:
    • Attend industry events to build networking & represent the brand.
    • Pitch collaborative event opportunities to notable venues.

Skills Requirements:

  • A minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in similar industry.
  • Confident with creating visual assets from concept to completion.
  • Strong creative skills with a passion for delivering world-class brand assets.
  • Meticulous organisation and planning.
  • Ability and experience with communicating with senior business leaders across multiple departments.
  • Excellent knowledge of the English written language.
  • Confident using Adobe platforms including After Effects, InDesign and Photoshop.
